Ann Graham Wagner, 82, of HIllsboro, IL passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs, IL. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Wares Grove Cemetery in Rural Butler, IL. Family and Friends will meet at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL at 1:30 p.m. to proceed to Wares Grove Cemetery. Rev. Matt Ferguson, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL, will officiate. Burial will be in Wares Grove Cemetery in Rural Butler, IL.
Mrs. Wagner was born on June 20, 1938, in Birmingham, AL, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Madeline (Shivers) Wheeler. She was a graduated of Hensley High School in Alabama and went on to attain her Bachelors in Nursing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She married Robert Wagner, in Birmingham, AL, on November 14, 1959 and he survives in Hillsboro, IL. Mrs. Wagner had worked as a Registered Nurse and she was also a teacher’s aide at Beckemeyer Elementary School in Hillsboro, IL for several years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL and she loved to read and spend time with her family. Mrs. Wagner had lived in Alabama; Nashville, TN, East Helena, MT, Columbus, OH and Hillsboro, IL.
Mrs. Wagner is survived by her husband, Robert Wagner of Hillsboro, IL; two children, Scott Wagner of St. Charles, MO and Elizabeth (husband, Gary) Davis of Hazelwood, MO and five grandchildren, Hannah Davis, Madeline Wagner, Grant Wagner, Kristen Wagner and Andrew Wagner. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Keith Wagner.
