Aileen Janet (Qualls) Hucker

Aileen J. Hucker, 105, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Tremont Ridge Assisted Living in Hillsboro, IL.  Private Services will be held. Burial will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL. 

Mrs. Hucker was born on June 8, 1915, in Hillsboro, IL, to the late Walter & Adah (Gilmore) Qualls.  She was a 1933 Graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL.  She married Homer Hucker, on December 8, 1940, and he preceded in death in 1980.   Mrs. Hucker had worked for the State of Illinois in Medical Billing.  She was a past member of the Hillsboro Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL and the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation.  She had lived in Hillsboro, IL; Florissant, MO for 27 years and then moving back to Hillsboro, IL. 

Mrs. Hucker is survived by her three children, Nancy Glassmeyer of Hillsboro, IL; Daniel Hucker of Sebring, FL and Emily (husband, Bernard) Steinbruegge of Florissant, MO; five grandchildren, Anne Foster, Amy McNeal, Julie White, Alice Cattoor & Jane McClurg and nine great grandchildren.  Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Hucker was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jill Stafford, two brothers and two sisters.
