Raymond A. LaRussa, 60, of Coffeen died June 30, 2017, at Hillsboro Area Hospital. Cremation rites were accorded. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. LaRussa was born on December 18, 1956, in France, to the late Donald LaRussa and Betty (Jones) Meredith. He married Susan Brewer on August 23, 1980 and later divorced. He was a truck driver and construction worker and lived most of his life in Hillsboro and Coffeen. Mr. LaRussa was an avid Star Wars and Chicago Cubs fan and loved to play pool.
He is survived by two daughters, Rachel (Kyle) Clothier of Edwardsville and Rebecca LaRussa of Springfield; two grandchildren, Noah and Noelle Clothier of Edwardsville; one sister, Randie LaRussa of Springfield and one step-brother, Ronald Meredith of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two step-brothers, Donald and Randy Meredith.
