Marvin Leroy Stolte

Marvin L. Stolte, 80, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 7:10 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL.  A memorial gathering will be held Friday, October 11, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Witt, IL at a later date. Cremation rites were accorded.

Mr. Stolte was born on July 9, 1939 in Hillsboro, IL to the late Martin J. and Lydia (Altevogt) Stolte.  He worked at Western Cartridge, Alton, IL and then making farm equipment at Worksaver, Litchfield, IL.

Mr. Stolte is survived by a brother, Everett (wife Janice) Stolte of Irving, IL; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Stolte of Irving, IL.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Stolte was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Stolte and Melvin Stolte.
