Marilyn Sue (Brummet) Leuschke

Marilyn S. Leuschke, 66, passed on April 27, 2019 at 6:10 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  Dr. Ronald D. Rhodus will officate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in HIllsboro, IL.

Mrs. Leuschke was born on February 12, 1953, in Pana, IL, to Chester Clyde & Louise (Dodson) Brummet.  She is a 1971 Graduate of Nokomis High School in Nokomis, IL.  She married Randall Leuschke, on December 7, 1985, in Springfield, IL.  Mrs. Leuschke had worked as a Clerk Typist for the Secretary of State of Illinois, homemaker, owner and operator of Star Acres Riding Stables, owner and operator of a cleaning service, in home care provider and sold her crochet items on her Etsy sight.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro, IL and was a foster parent to many children over the years.  She was an avid dog & horse lover, loved to garden, grow flowers and be outdoors.  Mrs. Leuschke was an organ & tissue donor.  She had lived in Pana, IL; Nokomis, IL; Waverly, IL; Springfield, IL; Irving, IL and Hillsboro, IL.  

Mrs Leuschke is survived by her husband, Randall Leuschke of Hillsboro, IL; mother, Louise (Dodson) Brummet of HIllsboro, IL; five children, Kimberly (Dan) Wilson of Kearney, MO; Jeremy (Brenda) Neathery of Irving, IL; Jordan (Michelle) Leuschke of Lutz, FL; Crystal Leuschke of Decatur, IL and Laura Leuschke of Inkster, MI; eight grandchildren;  two sisters, Shirley (Donnie) Clontz and Barb Smith & two brothers, Larry (Deanna) Brummet and Jerry (Cathy) Brummet.  She was preceded in death by her father, Chester C. Brummet.
