Loretta Louise Hokenson

Loretta Louise Hokenson, age 79, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 6:30 a.m. at HSHS Holy Family Hospital, Greenville IL.  A Memorial Service will he held on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro IL. A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, at the funeral home.  

Loretta was born on April 18, 1940 at Potosi, MO to the late Delbert and Ada (Ketcherside) Mayfield.  She had worked as a dietary worker at Hillsboro Area Hospital and was of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed collecting Indian Dolls, crocheting and knitting.  

She was married to Harold Hokenson.  Surviving are daughter, Pamela (husband, Jay) Short of Donnellson, IL; sons, Dale E. Hokenson of Bunker Hill, IL; Duane L. Hokenson of Coffeen, IL; Dean J. Hokenson of Altus, OK; ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.  Preceding in death, was a brother, Edward Mayfield.  .
