Laurie Jo (Weston) Gansner

Laurie Jo Gansner, Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. at her residence. Cremation rites were accorded.   Burial will take place at Waveland Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL. Family and friends may gather at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 to proceed to Waveland Cemetery, rural Hillsboro, IL.  There will be no visitation

Ms. Gansner was born on October 23, 1963 in Brunswick, GA, to the late Ronnald and JoAnn (Smeltzer) Weston. She was a 1981 Graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, IL, and did clerical work for the Montgomery Country Health Department, Hillsboro, IL. She lived in Hillsboro, IL and Quinlan, TX during her lifetime. She married Carl Gansner, and later divorced. Ms. Gansner loved to crochet, cook, obtain recipes, and favored Pepsi, and Pringles.

Ms. Gansner is survived by two children, Jarred Gansner (Fiance Dana Reck), Hillsboro, IL, and Sally (Gansner) Range, Hillsboro, IL; six grandchildren, Ethan and Aidan Law, Lucca Range, & Madison, Logan, and Caleb Reck; four brothers and sisters, Deanne Weston, Hillsboro, IL, Deon Weston, Girard, IL, Brian Weston, Hillsboro, IL, and Missy Weston Gibson, Hillsboro, IL; and step mother, Mary Beth Weston. 

Ms. Gansner was also preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Weston, 1988, and Douglas Weston, 2008.

Memorials may be given to Montgomery County Cancer Association, or Hillsboro Area Hospital Medical Surgery Unit.
