I met Glenn through a Facebook group for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Over the years I have enjoyed him talking about the farm. Oh those naughty hogs! I really miss his insight. I also miss reading his updates during the Cardinals game. I'm so sorry he had to endure cancer. I've been thinking about Glenn quite a bit this week.

Glen was once healthy, and light hearted, and silly. Oh, how we loved him for joining in our reindeer games! He was so funny and imaginative. Dreams. Oh, he had dreams!

We hung out on FB for a few years. At the end of our time together he had begun attending shows to see what all the hullabaloo was about. He was learning his bloodlines, and had bought a little baby boy, a black and tan from a breeder he was working with. His current profile pic was that pup. I didnt like the blanket he was on, so I gave it the blue background and forced Glenn to use my pic instead.

I believe he was in Washington state, occasionally making trips to his farm where he one day wanted to build and bring his dogs home to it.

I added him back on fb when I heard of his illness as I was getting my first mediport for my infusions in. I wrote him a lot, but I'm sure, like me, most days he was too sick to respond. Im so happy that he realized his dreams.

Cancer sucks. It takes the BEST people, truly. Please keep in mind this is in no way no ones fault. You couldnt have done anything any differently to get a different out come. Life takes. It consumes. I think if we got our way, and cancer only took the "bad" people, we would fail to appreciate life. What God has provided us in relationships and friendships. Things money cannot buy. Live piously and do not hold back your heart. Make friends, share your hearts, love. Uphold others. Especially when someone we know or used to know, grows ill. Rejoice in the time God gave us with Glenn. Did you not recieve gifts from Glenn? Compassion? Friendship? A helping hand? Do not weep. Smile as you remember what you exchanged with Glenn.

I will miss you, my dear Cavalier friend! So many silly silly times we had making up "safety videos" for incoming Cavalier members, or nightly watch patrols, jailbreaks, passing/mailing the unwanted Christmas fruit bread around as a game. Listening to your dreams for your future farm. Im so glad they came true, and that your profile pic is the one I made for you. I'll meet you there soon, and you betcha those silly times will resume! 🏕️
