Eric Allen Felix, age 48, of Hillsboro IL passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at East Peoria IL. Cremation rites will be accorded and no services are planned.

Eric was born July 1, 1970 at Alton, IL and is survived by his mother, Alice (Reynolds) Matthews and her husband, Kelly, of Hillsboro IL. Also surviving his daughter, Liberty "Libby" Felix, of Alton IL; sister, Trish (husband Chris) Roemelin of Hillsboro, IL; nieces, Brooke and Emilee Roemelin of Hillsboro, IL and significant other, Shelly Cato of HIllsboro, IL.

Eric attended Hillsboro High School with the Class of 1988 and had worked as a construction supervisor. He had resided in Florida, Colorado and Hillsboro IL.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
