Earl Gene Hopley

Earl G. Hopley, 57, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at 1:31 p.m., at Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL.  Cremation rites were accorded.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL.

Mr. Hopley was born on December 13, 1960 in Hillsboro, IL to Bernard and Frances Joan (Green) Hopley.  His father preceded on May 14, 2000 and his mother survives in Hillsboro, IL.  He was a graduate of South Dade High School, Homestead, FL and worked as a plumber in Homestead, FL.  Mr. Hopley lived in Hillsboro, IL; Homestead, FL; and Port St. Lucie, FL during his lifetime.

Mr. Hopley is survived by a son, Earl Vern Hopley of Hillsboro; his mother, Frances Joan Hopley of Hillsboro; and brothers and sister, Vern (wife Barbara) Hopley of Irving, IL; Paul (wife Vita) Hopley of Hillsboro, IL; and Rebecca Hopley-Jackson (wife Kat Hopley-Jackson) of Springfield, MO.

Mr. Hopley was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Hopley and a brother, Bruce Hopley.
