Dylan Charles Roemelin, 19, of Irving, IL passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017, at 3:26 p.m. at his residence. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro, IL. Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro, IL. Burial will take place in Irving Cemetery, Irving, IL. Rev. Brian Atkins, Hillsboro, IL, will officiate.
Dylan was born on February 25, 1998, to James Roemelin, Jr. and Leslie (White) Roemelin. His father survives in Hillsboro and his mother and Special Friend, Shawn Murray, survive in Irving, IL. Dylan was a 2016 graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, IL and worked at the Canton Inn as a server and busser. He loved camping, hanging out with his friends, loved to ride four wheelers, fishing, being outdoors and loved to make everyone smile. Dylan lived in Hillsboro and Irving during his lifetime.
Dylan is also survived by one brother, Connor Roemelin; one sister, Paige Roemelin; paternal grandparents, Jim and Connie Roemelin, Sr., Hillsboro, IL; maternal grandmother, Diane White, Irving, IL; great grandmother, Annelda Gordon, Hillsboro, IL; great grandfather, James R. White, Irving, IL; special friend, Lakota Page, Hillsboro, IL; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dylan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dean White.
