David Wayne Reynolds

David W. Reynolds, 74, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at 1:50 a.m., at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  Rev. Jay Martin, Pastor of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church in Witt, IL, will officiate.  Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery in Nokomis, IL.  

Mr. Reynolds was born December, 21, 1944, in Hillsboro, IL, to the late Clarence Reynolds and Edna Pauline (Brown) Reynolds.  He was a 1965 Graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL and attended SAMS Technical School for Design in Indiana.  He married Judy Durston, on July 6, 1968, at the Witt Presbyterian Church in Witt, IL.  She survives in Hillsboro, IL.  Mr. Reynolds had worked at Hurst & Roche in Hillsboro, IL; Consolidated Coal in Coffeen, IL and was a Geometric Technician for Illinois Department of Transportation.  He was a member of the Montgomery County Amateurs Radio Club; Litchfield Bass Club; Gillespie Bass Club; Paralyzed Veterans of America, Vaughn Chapter, in Chicago, IL; and fished competitively in the Midwest Bass Association and Guys & Gals World Bass Association. He lived in Hillsboro, IL his entire life.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife Judy; one son, Shawn Reynolds (companion, Lisa Rensing) of Breese, IL; one grandson, Wyatt Reynolds (companion, Steph Luttrell) of Litchfield, IL; two brothers, Larry (wife, Becky) Reynolds of Hillsboro, IL; Tom (wife, Sandy) Reynolds of Hillsboro, IL and one sister, Alice (husband, Kelly) Matthews of Hillsboro, IL.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials are suggested to Paralyzed Veterans of America, Vaughn Chapter, in Chicago, IL.
