Betty Jean (Thacker) Toberman

Betty Jean Toberman, age 96,  of Sarasota FL, formerly of Coffeen IL, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 in Sarasota FL.  A graveside services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., at Olive Hill Cemetery in Coffeen, IL.  Rev. Kevin Simburger, Assoc. Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church, will officiate.  Toberman-Dean Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mrs. Toberman was born on September 17, 1922 to the late Wade C. & Noble Mae (Rogers) Thacker.  She married Donald Rice Toberman, on October 25, 1942, at Old Monroe, MO.  He preceded her in death.  She had worked as a Postal Clerk in Coffeen, IL.  Mrs. Toberman was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  She had lived in Coffeen, IL and Sarasota, FL.

Mrs. Toberman is survived by one daughter, Melissa Toberman of Florida;nieces, Susan (Jerry) Mehrkens, and Amy Thacker, nephews Gary (Heidi) Thacker, Brad Thacker, Bob (Cindy) Thacker, Bill (Roseanne) Thacker, and Alan (Sherri) Thacker and several great nieces and nephews..  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Bill Thacker Sr. and Robert Thacker.
