Angelo Emilio Romero

Angelo Emilio Romero, 18, of Coffeen, IL, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 3:33 p.m., at his residence. Visitation will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL.  Mark Noyes, of Hillsboro, IL, will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Coffeen, IL.

Angelo was born on July 23, 2000, in Litchfield, IL. He was a 2018 graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, IL where he was an honor student and football player. He was an accomplished guitar player and poet, avid reader, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. 

Angelo is survived by his parents, Rafe and Amanda (Caldwell) Romero of Coffeen, IL; two brothers, Antonio Romero and Rocco Romero; paternal grandparent, Theresa Romero; maternal grandparents, John and Becky Laurent, and Kevin Caldwell; and maternal great-grandparents, Judy Frerk, and Claude and Barb Snider. He was preceded by his grandfather, Rodney Romero; great grandmothers, Ruth Ondrey, Alberta Caldwell, and Jackie Newell Chumley; aunt, Breezy Romero; and uncle, Stacey Snider.
