Wayne Brian Brown, 50, of Coffeen, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017, at 4:29 a.m. at his residence in Coffeen, IL. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro, IL. Rev. Jeff Hemken, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Hillsboro, IL, will officiate.
Mr. Brown was born on May 26, 1966 in Philadelphia, PA to Earl and Anna Marie Sue (Jackson) Brown. His father survives in North Carolina and his mother preceded in 2006. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Brown came to Illinois in the late 1980's and has lived in the Hillsboro and Coffeen areas since 2011.
Mr. Brown is survived by his children, Ryan Brown of Effingham, IL; Krystal Brown of Brownstown, IL; Mercedes Brown of Brownstown, IL; and a step-son, Robert Spicer of Edwardsville, IL; four grandchildren; his fiancee, Carol Brown of Coffeen, IL; two sisters; four brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Brown was preceded by a brother and sister, twins, at birth.
