Sharon Ann (Mackey) Noyes, 74, of Hillsboro, IL passed away Wednesday, November 08, 2017, at 3:35 p.m. at her residence in Hillsboro, IL, surrounded by her family.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro IL.  Order of the Eastern Star Service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  Celebration of Life services will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro IL.  Mark Noyes  and Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Hillsboro Free Methodist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Cress Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Noyes was born April 30, 1943 in Chicago, IL.  She was adopted by the late Christian Floyd & Geraldine (Williams) Mackey.  She was a 1961 graduate of Joliet Township High School.  Sharon married Gary Dean Noyes on April 11, 1964 at the First Christian Church Parsonage in Hillsboro, IL.  They had been married for 51 years before he preceded in death on May 10, 2015. She had worked as a ticket taker at Beckemeyer School Lunch Room in Hillsboro; worked as a gate attendant for Boulder Campground at Carlyle Lake; she was an Election Judge for 25 years and had operated the Yum Yum Factory.  Mrs. Noyes was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Hillsboro, IL, where she taught Sunday School & Vacation Bible School and was a member of the church choir; attended Hillsboro Free Methodist Church; Prime Timers; helped with Meals on Wheels; helped with Bloodmobile; was a Girl Scout Leader; Member of Old Settlers 2014 Honor Society; Member of Eastern Star, Hermon Chapter #95; she enjoyed family & friends and cooking for them,  crafts, listening to gospel music, was an avid Cubs fan; she had a knack for making Holidays special & she loved her four cats, “Snow White”, “Snow Ball”, “Tigger” & “Little Bit”.  

Mrs. Noyes is survived by two daughters, Christine Marie Noyes (husband Mike) Walters of Schram City, IL and Connie Sue Noyes Emerick of Hillsboro, IL; two grandchildren, Amber Dawn Walters and Noah Dean Emerick and two great grandchildren, Addy and Zeb Walters.  Along with her husband, Mrs. Noyes was preceded in death by a Son-in-law, Terry Jay Emerick; a brother, William Floyd Mackey & a step-sister, Marcia Bryan.  

Memorials are suggested to Memorial Home Hospice; St. Judes Childrens Hospital; Hillsboro Free Methodist Church or Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge in Hillsboro, IL.
