Sally Marie (Canter) Sturgeon

Sally Marie Sturgeon, 57, of Donnellson, IL passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 12:22 a.m. at her residence.  Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL.  Burial will be in Donnellson Cemetery, Donnellson, IL.  Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro, IL will officiate.

Mrs. Sturgeon was born on December 8, 1957, in Litchfield, IL to the late Donald and Lucille (Pollard) Canter.  She married Donald Gene Sturgeon, Sr., on August 27, 1976 in Litchfield, IL.  He preceded her in death on April 30, 2009.  Mrs. Sturgeon attended Litchfield High School and was the Electronics Department Manager at WalMart in Litchfield, IL.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and doing crafts.

Survivors include her three children, Shawne D. (husband Tim) Page, Taylor Springs, IL; Michelle Le (husband Shaun) Tarran, Hillsboro, IL; Donald Gene (wife Rachel) Sturgeon, Jr., Donnellson, IL; eight grandchildren, Eric Pinkerton, Tyler Tarran, Dakota Tarran, Brayden Tarran, Harley Page, Easton Page, Skyler Sturgeon, Parker Page; sisters, Ruth Werner, Geytha Widner, Kathy Waters and one brother, Lee Canter.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sisters; two brothers and one grandchild, Angelica Tarran.

Memorials may be given to the family.
