Rilla Faye (Kershaw) Gage

Rilla Faye Gage, 96, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at 6:12 p.m. at Montgomery Nursing & Rehab Center, Taylor Springs, IL.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL.  Funeral services will be Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL.  Rev. Gary Sproat, Pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, IL will officiate.  Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Gage was born on October 15, 1919, to the late Leroy and Minnie (Laws) Kershaw.  She attended grade school at Elm Point Country School and Donnellson High School.  She married Jack Gage on April 15, 1937, in St. Charles, MO.  He preceded her on March 21, 1982.  Mrs. Gage was a beautician, member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, IL and Hillsboro Country Club.  She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, crocheting and playing golf.  During her lifetime she lived in Donnellson, IL and Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Gage is survived by daughter, Marti Coderko, Hillsboro, IL; daughter-in-law, Judy Gage; son-in-law, Robert Tyler; six grandchildren, Chuck (wife Maria) Coderko, Springfield, IL; Debbie (husband Dan) Hall, Springfield, IL; Julie Ann and Tracy Lynn Gage, Litchfield, IL; Michael and Mark Tyler, Kincaid, IL; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Gage was also preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Gage on May 5, 1998; daughter, Jeanine Tyler on September 13, 2000; son-in-law, Richard Coderko; two sisters and four brothers.

Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, IL or Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL.
