Patricia Ann “Patsy” Lynch, 79, of Hillsboro, IL passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro, IL.  The Very Rev. James L. Neuman, V.F., Pastor of St. Agnes Catholic Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Lynch was born on June 21, 1936, in Hillsboro, IL, to the late Ed and Margaret G. (Murphy) Baugher.  She was a 1954 graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL   She married Louis “Cork” Lynch, on May 9, 1954, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, in Hillsboro, IL.  He survives in Hillsboro, IL.  Mrs. Lynch had lived in Denver, CO; Muncie, IN and Hillsboro, IL.  She had worked as a clerk in retail sales.  Mrs. Lynch was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro, IL; she loved NASCAR and was Jeff Gordon fan, an avid reader, loved to travel and spend time with her grandchildren. 

Along with her husband, Mrs. Lynch is survived by three daughters, Sheryl (husband Rusty) Koehler of Springfield, IL; Nancy (husband Terry) Swick of Taylor Springs, IL & Denise (husband Charles) Hinkle of Irving, IL; one son, Dale (wife Shelley) Lynch, Chatham, IL; six grandchildren, Jessica (husband Jim) Summers, Jacob Swick (companion Sara Johnson), Petra (husband Michael) Tatum of Trenton, IL, Ashley (husband Jason) Mackey, of Guthrie, OK, Alicia (husband Devon) Sanderfield of Kailua, HW & Paul Koehler of Springfield, IL; eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Linda (husband Jerry) Young, Hillsboro, IL; Sally (husband Jim) Cleaver, Riverton, IL and Jane Baugher, Hillsboro, IL and one brother-in-law, Walter Neely, Hillsboro, IL.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Myrna Neely.
