Norma Lee (Watson) Baker

Norma Lee Baker, 87, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 3:35 a.m. at Montgomery Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Taylor Springs, IL.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Hillsboro, IL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Hillsboro, IL.  Rev. Ian Caveny, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro, IL, will officiate.  Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery in Rural Hillsboro, IL. 

Mrs. Baker was born on September 2, 1930, in Rural Hillsboro, IL, to the late Roy Lee and Ora Mae (Taulbee) Watson.  She married Willard LeVerne Baker on December 20, 1946, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Parsonage, Hillsboro, IL, with Rev. Ezra Keller officiating.  She is retired from Hillsboro Glass Factory in Hillsboro, IL. Mrs. Baker was a member of First Baptist Church, Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Baker is survived by three children, Barbara Garber, Kernersville, NC; Carolyn Sue Bergman, Hillsboro, IL and Terry Baker (Significate Other, Karen) of Florence, AL; 12 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 6 step-great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; 2 step-great great grandchildren; and two brothers, Jesse Watson, Michigan and Jim Watson, Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Baker was also preceded in death by two son-in-laws, James Garber and Joe Bergman; two grandchildren; one great grandson; five sisters and three brothers.

Memorials may be given to Montgomery County Cancer Association.
