Mary Lorraine Nobbe, 77, of Hillsboro, IL passed on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL.  Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro, IL. 

Mrs. Nobbe was born, June 11, 1940, in Springfield, IL, to the late Wayne and Marcella (Rhodes) Beaty.  She was a graduate of Morrisonville High School in Morrisonville, IL and had worked as Office Manager for Louis Huber State Farm Agency in Hillsboro, IL.  She had married Paul S. Nobbe on September 25, 1960.  They later divorced.  Mrs. Nobbe was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro, IL, where she was secretary for CCW; delivered Meals on Wheels; was a member of a card club for 40 years; loved spending time with family and friends; and was very active with her grandchildren.  

Mrs. Nobbe is survived by her children, Pam (husband Stacy) Thacker of Coffeen, IL; Darin Nobbe (special friend Pam Padgett) of Taylor Springs, IL; and Paula (husband Jacob) Collins of Hillsboro, IL; five grandchildren, Aimee Klump of Coffeen, IL; Nathan (wife Maggie) Schwartzkopf of Indianapolis, IN; Jessica Nobbe of Taylor Springs, IL; Tycen Thacker of Coffeen, IL; and Lydia Collins of Hillsboro, IL; two great grandchildren, Kinley Lorraine Richardson and Hank Klump; two brothers, “Speed” Lawrence Beaty & Dale Beaty and one sister, Jean Cole.
