Mary Louise Booher, age 90, of Hillsboro, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 3:02 a.m. at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation, Taylor Springs, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro IL, with Rev. Mike Lawton, pastor of United Methodist Church, Hillsboro IL officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro IL. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, from 10:00 a.m. to service time at noon. at the funeral home.
Mary was born on December 14, 1925 at Hillsboro IL to the late Chalmer and Rosa Mae (Turner) Hill. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and had worked at Security Savings Bank in Hillsboro. Her memberships included Hillsboro Country Club, Red Hatters Group, Royal Neighbors, and United Methodist Church, Hillsboro. Mary was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing cards, and spending time with her family. She spent most of her lifetime in Hillsboro and also spent several winters in Florida.
Her marriage to Earl Booher took place in Chicago IL on March 31, 1945 and he preceded on February 18, 1994. She is survived by one son, David (wife Carol) Booher, Hillsboro, IL; daughter-in-law, Debbie Booher, Bloomington, IL; four grandchildren, Brandon (wife Leigh) Booher, Arlington TN; Jacob (wife Cristy) Booher, San Diego CA; Kale (wife Kate) Booher, Webster Groves MO; Kristin Booher, Davidson NC; five great grandchildren, Dayton Booher, Easton Booher, Paxton Booher, Jillian Booher and Deacon Booher. She was preceded by one son, John Booher on December 3, 2014 and one sister, June Dagon.
