Marshall Lee Sanders

Marshall Lee Sanders, 69, of Fillmore, IL passed away Saturday, November 04, 2017 at his residence.  Private family funeral services will be held.  Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL is in charge of arrangements. 

Marshall was born August 10, 1948, in Henry County, Kentucky, to Leroy & Sarah (Berry) Sanders.  He is a graduate of Greenfield High School in Greenfield, IL and was a veteran of the Air Force, serving in Vietnam.  He married Diana Williams, on November 7, 1986, in Hillsboro, IL.  She survives in Fillmore, IL.  Marshall retired from Graham Correctional Center, in Hillsboro, IL, where he was Supply Supervisor.  Marshall was a member of Masonic Lodge #255 in Donnellson, IL & Ainad Shriners of St. Louis, MO.  He loved U of K Basketball, loved to be on the river fishing and hunting and he loved his kids & grandkids and loved spending time with them.  

Along with his wife, Marshall is survived by his children, Marshall Lee (wife Stefani) Sanders, Jr. of Nebraska; Katrina Krummel (husband Scott Sadkowski) of Greenville, IL;  Shane M. (wife Laura) Sanders of Pana, IL & Aaron Dale (wife Tabitha) Sampson of Ramsey, IL; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one sister, Stella E. (husband Sonny) Gaige of Jacksonville, IL.  He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Memorials are suggested to Shiners Hospital for Children.
