Marilyn "Kae" Clearwater, 71, of Coffeen, IL passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at 4:32 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL. Toberman-Dean Funeral Home, Coffeen, IL is assisting the family. Cremation rites were accorded. There will be no services at this time.
Mrs. Clearwater was born on January 18, 1944, to the late William Thurman and Gwendolyn (Ferguson) Haenny. She grew up in Coffeen, IL then lived in Hillsboro, IL, Springfield, IL and Edwardsville, IL before moving back to Coffeen, IL. Mrs. Clearwater was a 1961 graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, IL. She worked as a Legal Secretary in St. Louis, MO and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and a quilting group.
Mrs. Clearwater is survived by one daughter, Rebecca (husband Roger) Bonney, Olivet, MI; two grandchildren, Vanessa Bonney and Ashlee (husband Sonny) DeLand; four great grandchildren, Grady Mast, Kaden DeLand, Mason DeLand and Bradlee DeLand; one half-brother, William (wife Carol) Haenny, Decatur, IL and one half-sister, Betty (husband Robert) Smock, Casey, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Alan Michael Haenny.
