Margaret Idella (Lewey) Reynolds

Margaret Idella Reynolds, 81, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018, at 2:35 a.m. at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, IL.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL.  Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL.  Rev. Harry Kirk, Pastor of Liberty Church, Bingham, IL will officiate.

Mrs. Reynolds was born on September 3, 1936, in Waggoner, IL, to the late Carl and Hazel (Swires) Lewey.  She was a 1954 graduate of Raymond High School, Raymond, IL.  She married Joseph L. Reynolds on December 9, 1956, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lewey, and he preceded her in death on June 23, 1991.  Mrs. Reynolds was a homemaker and worked for 16 years at Hillsboro National Bank, Hillsboro, IL.  She was a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Hillsboro, IL; Lioness Club of Hillsboro; enjoyed helping other people and lending a hand to the elderly.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by three sons, Roger (wife Sheri) Reynolds, Taylor Springs, IL; Ron (wife Diane) Reynolds, Butler, IL and Mark Reynolds, Taylor Springs, IL; five grandchildren, Chris (wife Whitney) Reynolds, Taylor Springs, IL; Brooke (husband Josh) Lang, Hillsboro, IL; Brandi (husband Ryan) Cofer, San Diego, CA; Abby Reynolds, Butler, IL and Mallory (husband Matt) Millburg, Raymond, IL; four great-grandchildren, Avery Reynolds, Ella Reynolds, Denton Lang and Thea Lang; nine brothers and sisters, Louis (wife Marjorie) Lewey, Litchfield, IL; Gary (wife Betsy) Lewey, Marseilles, IL; Dwaine (wife Martha) Lewey, Chatham, IL; Jim Lewey, Rolla, MO; Barbara Bowman, Colorado; Mary Frieders, Marseilles, IL; Beverly (husband Rodney) Matthews, Springfield, IL; Wanda (husband Jerry) Esselman, St. Louis, MO and Carlene (husband Bob) Crum, Indiana.

Memorials may be given to Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Activity Fund.
