Margaret E. "Peg" Bradley-Rambo, age 96, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 8:45a.m. at her residence.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 5:00p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL with Rev. Harry Meyers officiating.  Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, CA.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Bradley-Rambo was born to the late Earl Nathaniel and Violet Esther (Knudsen) Simpson on August 20, 1920 in Bureau Junction, IL.  She was a graduate of Princeton High School in Princeton, IL.  She married Robert Gray Bradley on January 1, 1942 at First Christian Church in Princeton, IL.  He preceded her in death on May 29, 1965.  She then married John M. Rambo on June 18, 1973 in Anaheim, CA.  He preceded her in death on October 6, 2011.  Mrs. Bradley-Rambo worked for Illinois Consolidated Telephone in Princeton, IL and in California; the Southern Pacific Railroad; Savon Drug, Inc. in Garden Grove, CA; was a a Department Head of Cosmetics and Jewelry Buyer Retail Store; and worked for Bass Patton Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  She was a member of First Christian Church and the Danish Sisterhood Lodge #55.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Gray (wife Nancy) Bradley of Nokomis, IL; Lynne (husband James) Lennert of Garden Grove, CA; Connie (husband Creighton) Prosser of Anaheim, CA; Rebecca (husband Ken) Julian of Lincoln, IL; nine Grandchildren, Shaun (wife Tyler) Lennert; Shellese (husband Jeffrey) Ash; Seth Lennert; Preston (wife Heidi) Prosser; Garret Prosser (companion Beth Taylor); Jennifer Violet (husband Damon) Neece; Michelle (husband Jody) Ravary; Kristel (husband James) White; and Lori Thorton; 14 Great-Grandchildren; and 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was preceded by a brother Lawrence E. Simpson and a son Timothy A. Rambo.

Memorial are suggest to PAWS Care and Montgomery County Cancer Association, both in Hillsboro, IL.
