Ludmilla "Millie" Grimm, 88, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL. Rev. Matt Ferguson, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will officate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.
Mrs. Grimm was born on August 22, 1926, in Taylor Springs, IL, to the late Thomas & Anna (Frkovich) Frkovich. She was a 1944 graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL. She married Melvin R. Grimm on, July 28, 1946, at the First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2007. Mrs. Grimm was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL. She loved to decorate, she participated in weekly quilting at the church and was a very good cook.
Mrs. Grimm is survived by three children, Gerry (husband, David) Hamblin of Hillsboro, IL; Martha Jane (husband, Cecil) Cope of Barllett, TN & John Ross (wife, Terry) Grimm of Capron, IL; eight grandchildren, Julia (husband, Blake) Malloy, Claire (husband, Paul) Perfetti, Lorrie (husband, Michael) Billings, Geoffery Cope, Daniel (wife, Stephanie) Grimm, Brian (wife, Tonya) Grimm, Rebecca Grimm & Shelia (husband, Aaron) Moore; one brother, Joe Frkovich of Costa Mesa, CA & one sister Olga Sturgeon of Springfield, IL. Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Grimm was preceded in death by one son, Thomas H. Grimm on August 22, 2007; one brother, Frank Frkovich & three sisters, Charlotte Johson, Cora McGuire & Mary Bullard.
