Lorcye "Faye" (Davidson) Hamrock

Faye Hamrock, 81, of Witt, IL passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 1:37 a.m. at Nokomis Rehab & Health Care Center in Nokomis, IL.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A private family burial will take place at St. Barbara's Cemetery, Witt, IL.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Witt Lion's Building, Witt, IL.  Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL is assisting the family.

Mrs. Hamrock was born on August 2, 1934, in Witt, IL, to the late Jeff and Vada (Beaman) Davidson.  She was a 1952 Graduate of Witt High School in Witt, IL; a 1955 Graduate of St. John’s Hospital School of Nursing in Springfield, IL; a 1976 Graduate of St. Francis College with a Bachelor of Science/Professional Arts Degree in Joliet, IL.  She married Michael Paul “Podge” Hamrock on November 26, 1955 at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Witt, IL.  He preceded on Sept. 18, 2013.  Faye was a member of St. Barbara Altar Society in Witt, IL and of the Nursing Association.  She was a lifelong resident of Witt, IL.

Mrs. Hamrock is survived by her four children, Carol (husband Roger) Durbin of Witt, IL; Cathy (husband Rex) Ulrici of Witt, IL; Mike (wife Cindy) Hamrock of Waseca, MN; and John (wife Paula) Hamrock of Nokomis, IL; eight grandchildren, Shannon Durbin, Ryan Durbin, Tyler Ulrici, Justin Hamrock, Patrick McElroy, Matt McElroy, Patrick Anderson & Arica Burke; and twelve great-grandchildren, Bailey Durbin, Kain Durbin, Jack Hamrock, Ava McElroy, Carly McElroy, Addison McElroy, Mya McElroy, Joslyn Hamrock, Crue Burke, Dekker Burke, Danica Anderson & Justine Anderson.  Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.  

Memorials are suggested to Montgomery County Cancer Association.
