Lance L. “The Legend” Caulk, 51, of Schram City, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at 6:51 a.m. at his residence. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL. Burial will take place in Irving Cemetery, Irving, IL. Rev. John Walsh, United Methodist Church, Fillmore and Coffeen, IL will officiate.
Mr. Caulk was born on August 28, 1965, in Hillsboro, IL, to Lynn and Sharon (Kiefer) Caulk and they survive in Irving, IL. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, IL, was a truck driver for 28 years for the United States Postal Service in St. Louis, MO, an avid deer hunter, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mr. Caulk lived in the Hillsboro, IL area his entire life. He married Marj Hennings on April 8, 1995 in Irving, IL and she survives in Schram City, IL.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Caulk is survived by his son, Colton Caulk of Schram City, IL; two step-children, Courtney Barger and Christian Barger, both of Kokomo, IN; two step-grandchildren, Kaylynn and Kenzley Mohler, both of Kokomo, IN; brother, Lane (wife Laura) Caulk of Irving, IL; niece, Dalaney Caulk; and two nephews, Cody Caulk and Dane Bondurant.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or Montgomery County Cancer Association.
