Kevin Lee Corazza, age 55, of Hillsboro IL, passed away on March 25, 2015 at 5:10 p.m. at St. John's Hospital, Springfield IL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro IL, with Rev. James Hayes, pastor of St. James Baptist Church, Hillsboro, officiating. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Hillsboro IL at a later date. Visitation will be on Monday, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kevin was born on September 20, 1959 at Hillsboro IL to Robert Roy Corazza, who preceded on December 6, 1974. His mother, Twila (Gunn) Everett, survives at Plainfield IL.His marriage to Denise Sweet took place on October 5, 2010 at Springfield, IL and she survives at Hillsboro IL.Kevin graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1977, attended Eastern University for 1 year, then attended Vocational School in Harlingen TX where he became a Certified Machinist. He had worked as a machinist for several different machine shops. He loved to watch sports and was a Grateful Dead fan.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Lee Corazza, Jr., Hillsboro IL; two grandchildren, Jacob Eugene Corazza & Kody Lee Corazza; sisters, Julie (husband Michael) Krivich, Plainfield IL, Nicole (husband Ray) Hardt, Irving IL and brother, Matt (wife Cis) Everett, Raymond IL.
