Juanita Bandy, 89, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Eastview Terrace in Sullivan, IL. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Harry Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL. Mrs. Bandy was born on May 23, 1925, in Hillsboro, IL, to the late P.M. & Laura (Davis) Bandy, Sr.. She had worked at Balls Bros. Glass Factory in Hillsboro, IL; Montgomery Wards Retail Store and Ozark Airlines Reservationist. She was a member of the New Life Assembly of God in Coffeen, IL. Mrs. Bandy is survived by a special friend, Ruth Ann Johnstone of Hillsboro, IL; a brother, P.M. "Jay" (wife Irma Louise) Bandy, Jr. of Walshville, IL and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline LaRussa, Bernice Short & Dixie Speiser and one brother, Wayne Bandy. Memorials are suggested to New Life Assembly of God in Coffeen, IL or Montgomery County Animal Control.
