James "Jim" Vincent Parlante

James "Jim" Vincent Parlante, 62, of Hazelwood, MO, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 11:44 p.m. in Hazelwood, MO.  A Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL with Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Inurnment will take place at St. Agnes Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL.  The Very Reverend James L. Neuman, V.F., Pastor of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro, IL will officiate.

Mr. Parlante was born on April 26, 1955, in Prescott, AZ to the late Dr. Vincent J. and Kathryn M. "Kay" (Morgan) Parlante. He graduated high school from Missouri Military Academy, received his BA from Carthage College, Kenosha, WI; MBA from University of West Florida, Pensacola, FL; and MHA from Ohio State University, Columbus, OH.  Mr. Parlante worked as a Health Care Consultant.  He married Diana Jones, at Martha's Vineyard, MA in 1990, and they later divorced.  During his lifetime Mr. Parlante lived in Altoona, PA; Hillsboro, IL; Pensacola, FL; New Orleans, LA; Cleveland, OH; Honolulu, HI and San Francisco, CA.

Mr. Parlante is survived by two brothers, John Parlante of Atlanta, GA and Dr. Joseph Parlante of Madison, WI, sister, Patricia Hise of Oak Park, IL and nephew, Josh Hise of Chicago, IL.

Memorials may be given to the Hillsboro Hospital Foundation.
