Helen Mae (Sinnard) Gudausky, 73, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 11:37 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL. Brian Patton, Hillsboro, IL, will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Mrs. Gudausky was born on October 2, 1943, in Mt. Auburn, IL to the late Guy and Lora (Curts) Sinnard. She lived most of her life in Hillsboro, IL. She married Richard Gudausky on August 20, 1960 in Taylorville, IL. He survives in Hillsboro, IL. She was a homemaker, owned Country Hill Ceramics, and helped out at Lake Road Garden Center in Hillsboro, IL. She loved to paint ceramics, working with flowers, especially pansies, crocheting and quilting.
Mrs. Gudausky is survived by five children, Janet (husband David) Warren of Witt, IL; Richard (wife Carol) Gudausky, Jr. of Witt, IL; Anthony "Tony" (wife Sandra) Gudausky of Decatur, IL; Toby (wife Kim) Gudausky of Litchfield, IL; and Jennifer Gudausky (husband Travis Henry) of Buffalo Valley, TN; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and siblings, Guy "Buck" (wife Linda) Sinnard of New Harmony, IN; Dorothy (husband Tom) Haubner of Decatur, IL and Avis Feltz of Belvidere, IL.
Mrs. Gudausky was also preceded in death by one great-grandchild, one brother, Howard Sinnard, and one sister, Carol Scribner.
