Gary Dean Noyes, 75, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at 4:30 a.m. at his residence.  Visitation for Mr. Noyes will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL.  Masonic services will be held at 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL.  Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro, IL; Mark Noyes, Hillsboro, IL and Lillard Luttrell will be officiating.  Burial will be in Cress Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL.

Mr. Noyes was born on February 25, 1940, to the late Warren F. and Edna E. (Casey) Noyes.  He was a 1958 graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, IL and earned an Associate's Degree from Ranken Technical College, St. Louis, MO.  He married Sharon Mackey on April 11, 1964 at the First Christian Church Parsonage, Hillsboro, IL.  She survives in Hillsboro, IL.  He was a sheet metal worker receiving his journeyman card in 1968 from the Sheet Metal Workers Local #268, Caseyville, IL.  Mr. Noyes was a member of the Class of 1958 Monthly Lunch Group; Sheet Metal Workers Local #268, Caseyville, IL; Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge #51 AF & AM, Hillsboro, IL; Scottish Rite 32nd Consistory, Springfield, IL; Move Program for Veterans at Fusion Fitness Center, Hillsboro, IL; Prime Timers at the Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro, IL; Meals on Wheels; McDonald's Coffee Group; enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids; proud to be an eastside kid; spent 50 years camping at various locations; campground attendant at Carlyle Lake; 100% handyman; nicknamed "Tin Snip" and enjoyed riding his scooter.  He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  During his lifetime, he also lived in Joliet, IL.

Mr. Noyes is survived by his wife, Sharon Noyes, Hillsboro, IL; two daughters, Christine Marie Noyes (husband Mike) Walters, Schram City, IL and Connie Sue Noyes Emerick, Hillsboro, IL; two grandchildren, Amber Walters and Noah Dean Emerick; and two great grandchildren, Addyson and Zebadiah Walters.

Mr. Noyes was preceded in death by his parents; his son-in-law, Terry Jay Emerick and three siblings, Earlene Waymon, Robert Eugene Noyes and Marilyn Jones.

Memorials may be given to St. Louis Shriner's Hospital, St. Jude's Hospital, Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro, IL or Hospice Care of Sangamon County, Springfield, IL.
