Daryn Homa, 30, of Taylor Springs, IL passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016, at 9:35 p.m. in Hillsboro, IL. Private family services will be held at a later date. Rev. James Hayes, Pastor of St. James Baptist Church, Hillsboro, IL will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Hill Cemetery, Coffeen, IL. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL is in charge of arrangements.
Daryn was born on January 19, 1986, in Litchfield, IL to Lenny Homa and Mary Gail McFarland. Her father and step-mother, Brenda Homa, survive in Witt, IL, and her mother survives in Hillsboro, IL. Daryn worked in Home Health Care. She lived in the Hillsboro and Taylor Springs areas her entire life.
Daryn is also survived by sisters and brother, Adrienne Homa, Taylor Springs, IL; April Hadowsky, Pana, IL; Amber Collier, Odin, IL; Abby Bugg, Witt, IL; Desirae Simonton and Jake Simonton; three nieces; one nephew; paternal grandmother, Vera Homa, Taylor Springs, IL; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Daryn was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Duke Homa and maternal grandparents, Melvis and Doris McFarland.
Memorials may be given to Bringing Back Taylor Springs.
