Barbara Greenwood

Barbara Greenwood, age 63, of Hillsboro IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at 4:28 p.m. at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Funeral Services for Mrs. Greenwood will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Hillsboro IL, with Rev. Matt Ferguson, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Hillsboro officiating, assisted by Rev. Randy Sands, pastor of Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro IL. Visitation will be on Monday, February 23, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to  2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Hillsboro.

Barbara was born on November 27, 1951 at Hillsboro IL, the daughter of the late Robert E and Mary G (Frkovich) Bullard. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School  in 1969 and had worked as a sales manager for V.R.I. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hillsboro, was a volunteer at Montgomery County PAWS Care and loved her grandchildren,  gardening and pets.

Her marriage to Russell Greenwood was on May 29,1993 and he survives in Hillsboro IL. Also surviving are children, Noah (wife Melissa) Meade, Grayslake, IL; Morgan Meade (companion, Blake Johnson), Nokomis, IL; Mike (wife Vicki) Greenwood, Coffeen, IL; Eldon (wife Jeanne) Greenwood, Coffeen, IL; Randy (wife Tammy) Greenwood, Hillsboro IL; two grandchildren, Caroline and Owen Meade; four step-grandchildren, Brandon, Cody, Dustin and Devin; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann (husband, Michael) Smith, Bloomington IL; nephew, Joshua Benny,and niece, Jill (husband Kris) Wells.

Memorials are suggested to Montgomery County Cancer Association or Montgomery County PAWS Care.
