Barbara "Barb" Ann DeLuka, 80, of Hillsboro, IL, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in Montgomery Nursing & Rehab Center in Hillsboro, IL. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the First Presbyterian Church, Hillsboro, IL, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Logue officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Coffeen, IL.
Mrs. DeLuka was born March 3, 1936 in Coffeen, IL , the daughter of the late Everett "Pete" and Geneva I. (Robertson) Neathery. She was a graduate of Coffeen High School, Coffeen, IL. She married Larry L. DeLuka on March 10, 1956 at United Methodist Church in Coffeen, IL. He preceded her on June 10, 2007. She and her husband, Larry, owned and operated Woody's Tavern in Hillsboro, IL; worked for Dr. Douglas for many years in Hillsboro,IL and worked at the Montgomery County Courthouse billing for ambulances. Mrs. DeLuka managed the concession stand for the Sports Association and loved to cook, spending time with her grandchildren and watch them participate in their sporting activies.
She is survived by her children, Larry (wife Kristy) DeLuka of Hillsboro and Lori (husband Doug) Speiser of Hillsboro, IL; her grandchildren, Matthew and Katie DeLuka of Hillsboro, IL and Devin Speiser of Hillsboro,IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Al Neathery and Kevin Neathery.
Memorial may be made to Hillsboro Sports Association or Montgomery County Cancer Association Breast Support.
