Artie Waneta Rozmislowicz

Artie Waneta Rozmislowicz, age 96, of Hillsboro IL passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2:50 p.m. at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, with Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro, officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, February 15, from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rozmislowicz was born on December 26, 1919 at Springfield OH to the late Ervin and Gertrude (Shaffer) Stottlemyre.  She married William E. Rozmislowicz on December 29, 1947 at Elkville IL and he preceded her on September 10, 2005. She had lived in Dowell IL and Hillsboro IL. Artie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Hillsboro and had attended Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles.

Survivors include six children, Donna Worley, Springfield OH; Bill Rozmislowicz, Decatur, IL; Dalena (husband Doug) Hudelson, Taylorville IL; Elva (husband Bobby) Colyer, Norton VA; Mary Ann (husband Kirk) Stewart, Hillsboro and Florence Rozmislowicz, Hillsboro.  Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Preceding in death were three grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Routzahn and Alice Williams.

Memorials are suggested to Free Methodist Church, Hillsboro, American Heart Association or Montgomery County Cancer Association.
